Wat Rong Khun, Chiang Rai, Thailand

Wat Rong Khun is a buddhist temple in the Chiang Rai province of Thailand. Construction is continual despite having started in 1997. The hands above are on either side of the entry way and represent the souls reaching up from beyond.

Inside the temple is a mural painting with several contemporary ideas and representations. Wat Rong Khun is considered one of the most contemporary temples in the world.
