Located in on the coast of northwestern Madagascar, Mahajanga is one of the largest cities in Madagascar. This shot is of the infamous African sunset over Katsepy just across the bay.

Located not far north of Antananarivo, Mahitsy is a typical small town. In this shot, we were taking a water break on a long drive to Mahajanga. A local was walking a zebu across the road. The zebu would later be sold for meat. (And I’d eat a few ounces of it that night for dinner.)
